忙しいです YO!

I've been so busy lately what with coaching three speech contest students, classes and on top of that tutoring (Not to mention that I'm also studying for the GRE (Oct) and the JLPT (Dec), in addition to tearing my hair out over application essays and whatnot), but I originally intended to write in this blog on a semi-daily basis.

So, I'm going to do my best to write on a daily schedule for you, starting this week.

PS:  I am trying not to comment publicly on this blog about the Japan/China issue but it's on my mind since I live in Okinawa, which is in proximity to the disputed islands.  The protests in China look terrifying.  But I believe what the artist Ai Wei Wei says about protests in China.

PS, part II:  In trying to gain perspective on my time in Okinawa, I see what I could have done better.  And since I have a year left, I plan to do just that: Better.  Or as my aunt likes to say:  Good, Better, Best. Never let it rest.  Until your good is better and your better, best.  Damn, I think that might be the internal motto of my Japanese students (at least the kids I see practicing the three notes they play on their trombones every. single. day).

PS, part III:  Mainland Japan, I have my eyes on you.
